According to data released by China Customs, the country imported 440,000 tons of sugar in July, with an increase of 190,000 tons on the year,and month-on-month increase of 300,000 tons.

　　From January to July 2019, China imported 1.5 million tons of sugar, with a decrease of 130,000 tons on the year.

　　In the 2018/19 season, China's cumulative sugar imports stood at 2.35 million tons,with an increase of 260,000 tons on the year.
