According to data released by China Customs, the country imported 60,000 tons of sugar in March, with a decrease of 320,000 tons on the year.

　　From January to March 2019, China imported 200,000 tons of sugar, with a decrease of 243,800 tons on the year.

　　In the 2018/19 season, China's cumulative sugar imports stood at 1.05 million tons,with an increase of 145,900 tons on the year.
