China imported 340,000 tons of sugar in October, an increase of 170,000 tons year-on-year and an increase of 150,000 tons from September, customs data showed.
From January to October 2018, China imported 2.31 million tons, an increase of 306,800 tons.
In the 2017/18 season, China's cumulative sugar imports stood at 2.43 million tons, an increase of 150,000 tons.
