The last mill stopped crushing on April 12, 2019, marking the official end of Zhanjiang sugar mills production in 2018/19.

　　According to the statistics of sugar association, in the 2018/19 season, Zhanjiang's cumulative sugarcane crush stood at 7.1222 MMT,with a decrease of 893,800 tons on the year.

　　The final sugar production in Zhanjiang is 699,300 tons,with a decrease of 54,100 tons on the year.

　　The sugar recovery is 9.82%, with an increase of 0.42 percent on the year.
