The last mill stopped crushing on May 10, 2019, marking the official end of Guangxi sugar mills production in 2018/19.

　　According to the statistics of sugar association, by the end of April, Guangxi had produced 6.34 MMT of mix sugar in the 2018/19 season, and only 2 sugar mills produced in May.

　　The final sugar production in Guangxi is estimated to 6.35-6.38 MMT.
