The last mill stopped crushing on May 25, 2019, marking the official end of Yunnan sugar mills production in 2018/19.

　　According to the statistics of sugar association, by the end of April, Yunnan had produced 2.0021 MMT of sugar in the 2018/19 season, and only 15 sugar mills produced in May.

　　The final sugar production in Yunnan is estimated to 2.08 MMT.
