80 sugar mills in Guangxi are in operation as of January  4, 2019, 7 less than the same period of last year, with an estimated daily crushing capacity of 583,300 tonnes.

In the next week rainy weather will prevail in guangxi, causing delays in cane crushing of some mills, 2-3 mills are expected to start crushing next week.
